Keshet is based in beautiful Hobart, Tasmania and first came to fruition at the famous Salamanca Market in 2005. Since then, Keshet has opened a storefront in Hobart’s Bank Arcade as well as expanding to an online and wholesale retailer. Now ladies from all over the world are adorned in our gorgeous range of clothing! Keshet founders, Melodie and Nimrod, traveled the world for nearly a decade sourcing inspiration from the diverse and vibrant cultures they were blessed to experience firsthand. The spirit and character of these journeys are reflected in our super versatile designs. Melodie, our designer, sources our fabrics both vintage and new, ranging from hand-embroidered cotton through to rayon, viscose, and pure silk. In addition, we print our own exclusive fabric! Keshet’s collections are designed in Tasmania and are handmade with love in India and Thailand in ethical working environments. Melodie works closely with the tailors while cutting patterns and hand-selecting exclusive fabric and accessories to bring you a beautiful, comfortable and practical range of clothing to suit people of all shapes and sizes.
